"And I know thier names…"

Last night, ds4 had a nightmare. Said he dreamed he was all alone. After a big hug, I told him that wasn’t right, he was never alone. “Even when mom and dad aren’t with, God is always with you. And God has sent 4 very special angels to take care of you. And I know their names.”“really?”

“yup. You wanna know?”

“Yea… “ (said with wonder and amazement in his voice.

“First, there is Angel. She’s like your big sister, she will always guard and protect you. Then there is Mysterie, he likes to keep secrets. Then there is Sunshine. Sunshine likes to make you happy. Then there is Charity. Do you know what Charity means?”

“no”

“Charity means love. All four of them watch over you, and protect you. And God is always with you. So you don’t have to be scared.”

“Ok.” (said as he rolled over and went back to sleep.)

  1. Hey, I’m actually a blogger (www.agenttimonline.com–it’s politics and christianity) and go to James Burcham’s church and sort of wondered who you are 😛 (if you still go there). Just visit my site and drop me a note by clicking on “Contact” or dropping me a comment!

    God Bless,

  2. If only adults would take these simple yet true answers as just that. I love being able to tell my 3 year old about his big sister and answer any questions he might have in the future (too young right now) with God and angels in my explaination. I know that he will find comfort and truth. I do hope that the good Lord thinks I am doing a good job in raising my children to be like Him.
