So… I can totally explain the no-blogging yesterday… my baby decided to grow up! From 745am yesterday morning, till he went to bed at 830pm, the day was spent in 30 minute or less increments between trips to the potty.
My Two and a Half year old son just decided, “I wan wayer my unner-wayers mommy. I big boy.” So every thirty minutes was spent running to the bathroom, so he could earn more M&Ms.
He went all morning without an accident. Then had 4 that were mostly my fault because I should know better at this point. But hello??? Only 4 accidents, on his first day in big kid pants? Awesome!
I hear him waking up over there… Sounds like we’re in for another busy, busy day.
Yay for your little one!! I am still waiting to try Sarah at the potty thing. I tried when she turned 2 but all I got was screaming. So I am going to wait it out until she’s 2 and a half. Good luck! Sounds like he is doing great!
My mother had my older DD “trained” by the time she was 18 months old, and we had to take 4 changes of clothing every time we went somewhere. LOL With my younger DD, I decided to wait until SHE was ready. She announced that she would give up pampers when she was 3 years old. On her 3rd birthday, she said she would wait until she was four. About a month after she turned 3, she said she was ready for big girl pants, and that was it ~ never an accident. A month after that, she said she didn’t need diapers at night any more, and that was the end of diapers in my house. No stress, no strain!
