At least they are learning teamwork.

What the heck? is it a full moon or something? the three of them are out to get me. Don’t be fooled by their sweet innocent faces.

Doesn’t help that DH is gone for duty, and I’m on my own with these three demons that have replaced my normally sweet children. Or maybe that is why they are behaving this way. Who knows?

We went to the mall this morning. Oh they were good at the mall… right up until we split a small Dairy Queen ice cream. As soon as they finished the ice cream, claws came out, fangs grew at alarming rates, and horns sprouted from the tops of all three heads. I exaggerate… a little.

It’s been non-stop ever since. From the big one and his *ahem* problems of which I will spare him the future embarassment it would cause him to have it spelled out here. To the little one, who thinks he doesn’t have to obey mommy anymore, cuz he’s two years old, and he knows better. *Note to 2 year old – Mommy always wins. Just ask Mercer Mayer. And I won’t even get started on the Diva-liciousness known as my daughter. Ugh.

  1. Mommy may always “win”, but they are going to try your patience in the meantime! LOL I always enjoy reading about the trials and tribulations of a young mother with three precious kids who enjoy making her work for her money. What? You mean you do this for FREE???

  2. Hey you. Yeah I have had those days and are still having them. I think Sarah has hit the decibal that hasn’t been charted yet. She screams that loud. Has your hubby left for sea again? Well your “monsters” will revert back to angels shortly. They have always been angels to me. But I don’t live with them 24/7. TTYL.

  3. he he he…. thanks Renee. No.. he’s not Gone, gone… just working… boat crap. I’ve been way too spoiled with the helicopter squadrons we usually roll with… I’m betting they are all perfectly behaved tomorrow when Daddy has them for a few hours…

  4. Your kids being good for their dad reminded me of when my older DD was 4 years old. We had just moved to Michigan and I was greatly PG with Elizabeth. My dear neighbors offered to take Stephanie with them to town to give me a few hours of unpacking time. The hubby was going to be the kids’ pediatrician, and his wife was an early childhood education expert. Need I say that it was just slightly intimidating being around them! LOL Anyhow, as they were leaving, I said to DD, “now, please be good for Aunt Donna & Uncle Herald”. She looked at me and replied, “I’m ALWAYS good when I’m not with you, mom!”
