seems to be every other day like clockwork. a new column of ants is seen advancing into enemy territory. On the plus side, there have been some small victories.
In the teal zone – AKA my office – there have only been 4 indian scouts sighted. They were moving extremely slowly, and were spotted near the tiny bodies of some casualties of this war, evidence that they no longer had a way out or food supply in this zone.
In the carpet zone – aka my living room – No sightings have been made since last Monday. the carpet fresh poured down the paneling seems to be accomplish two tasks – the enemy has been beaten back, afraid to cross the barrier, as well as giving a pleasing, country garden scent to the whole house.
In the soon-to-be-yellow zone – aka my kitchen – new incursions have been sighted nearly every 48 hours like clock work. However, the enemy seems to be wearing down. the last two attempts were small, thin lines easily traceable to their point of entry, which was subsequently sealed.
Since the last seen line was this afternoon, I am anticipating a battle-free day tomorrow, in preparation for Wednesdays attack. Here’s hoping the little effers stay out this time!
OT- Love what you said on JD’s blog. You always find a way to make me laugh!!
