my family is coming over tomorrow. We were supposed to spend Saturday at a local theme park, aka “the big park!” But’s going to be like 49 degrees.
Ouch. I don’t think so. Not with me and my mom and our arthritic hips and knees.
Ever notice how everytime AlGore gives a speech about global warming, a freak blizzard or massive cold snap occurs. (usually where he is speaking too). I think someone should tell him to shut up. I’m tired of the cold!
And FYI – we were totally going to buy some of those energy saving bulbs, not cuz we care about the environment… Just cuz we wanted to decrease the power bill… .until we found out they have mercury in them…. Umm… no. So not cool dude.
My dh and I just said the same thing. Global warming? then how come we’re so freakin’ cold in April and it’s supposed to snow for our Easter Egg Hunt. LOL! 😀

Yea…. I hear you. But word is GE is a few months away from releasing a standard light bulb that gives off the same wattage, while using less… comparable to the CFLs. It obviously won’t last as long… BUT! no mercury! Woo hoo!
