Busy seems to be an understatement. The normal holiday madness compounded by three sick kids (who, luckily, are on the mend today, but have all had fevers and coughs and sore throats all week), and well.. yea, that’s busy enough for anyone.
But not me! nope! I had to go and enroll in a Mentoring program to help me learn to be a better designer. Thankfully, it’s a work at your own pace thing…
As far as Holiday madness goes… I have projects I’m working on… all of which need to be completed before Christmas. I’m almost done with the yearly brag book (only surprise with that is what photos I use). I’m about halfway through the family calendar. Unfortunately, since I need to take that one to staples to get bound before mailing to the relatives, I really really need to finish it this week. Then there are the projects for the kids, the wooden letters for their doors, the painting I’m doing for Anthony, the endless wrapping…
I’d love to say my gift buying is all done. I’ve managed to do most of it online. But. I don’t have just Christmas, I’ve got 3, count ’em 3, birthdays. Yea… I think this would be a good year to start a tradition of only getting one gift for your birthday. *S* I know I know… that would totally stink… but hey… by this time next year, we’ll have a mortgage bill to pay. *sigh*
oh well… off to finish something. I hope.
