Thankful Tree Day?

There is so much to be thankful for this year.

My husband, of course.  I consider myself extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful man in my life.

My kids, at least most days. *S*  Each one of them has their moments, but overall they are good kids, and they are definitely a source of pride and joy in my life.

My friends, and my blog readers.  *S* and so much more.  So much, that it took me two days to write this much.  *S*
We spent Thanksgiving at my mom’s house.  This was really fun, because she and I are taking the same photo class!  People were dodging cameras left and right! *S*  But after dinner, My oldest ran off to play Lego Star Wars with Aunt B.’s boyfriend, and my DD ran off to Gramma’s playroom to watch Christmas specials since after all, all year she has been waiting for this day, the day when she can once again watch Small One.  The youngest ran around our ankles while DH & I played Bumper Pool.  The Baby, who isn’t a baby anymore, so I really have to come up with a new name for him, even played some Air Hockey with Mom and Dad.

Today was spent putting up the Christmas decor.  We call it “Tree Day”.  This is the day that we cook our own turkey, and have our own, much smaller, version of a traditional Thanksgiving dinner.  Only instead of watching football all afternoon, we break out the Christmas movies & music, and trim the tree.  *S*  It’s a bit stressful when the little ones get overwhelmed, but overall, a great day.
