Anxious Anticipation

The whole neighborhood is fairly crackling with anticipation.  Only three more days until the Wicked Witch of the ‘hood, or as we affectionately call her, La Bruja, is supposed to be gone for good.

Thing is, we see little signs here and there, but there is not a single one of us who wants to believe it will really happen until the moving truck arrives.  Until then, we look over, briefly discuss the latest signals, and wonder when the truck will arrive.  Most everyone has agreed that we would glad take up a collection if it would get her out of here, say, oh, yesterday.  Several of us, myself included, would be more than willing to help her pack if it would hurry the process along.  We just want her gone!  This woman has made our peaceful neighborhood a living Hell since the day they moved her in almost two years ago.

One thing is for sure.  When the moving truck leaves, we will have a HUGE fiesta on her ex-front lawn.
