Big ol’ Spoiler alert for any who haven’t seen it yet!
I sooo nailed it! well sorta… I told my dh that just from the combination of the preview, and the descript in the Guide on DTV (which changed around noon Wed btw. Tuesday it said “Sun decides whether to tell Jin a newfound secret that could change the dynamic of life on the island” by late afternoon Wed. it read “Sun has a secret” or something vague like that.) that this epi. we would find out that Sun and Jin had fertility issues, and suddenly she’s pregnant.
Sure enough! *S* It starts out with us learning through flashbacks that Sun and Jin are infertile. At first, the doctor tell them it’s advanced endometriosis and poor Sun will never be able to carry a baby. But later, he tracks down Sun and tells her she is fine, it’s Jin’s swimmers that are no good, but he’s scared to tell Jin.
In “other” news… AnaLucia convinces Henry to draw a map to his balloon. Then her Charlie and Sayid take off on a hike to find it. My pick for best line of the week –
Sayid – “Do Jack and Locke know?” (in reference to the map)
AnaL – “Jack and Locke are too busy worrying about Locke and Jack.”
although the people on the ABC boards also seem to think that Sun got with Michael… I don’t think so. Even if she had wanted to, I think she would have been to scared of what Jin might do to her if she did. and the show was trying to make think that she had got with the hotel guy she was learning english with (who was the guy that she had been arranged to marry b4 they backed out of it)… but I don’t think so, cuz of how much dishonor that would bring on her family. Honor is a powerful thing out there. Americans in general just don’t understand how important honor is to that culture. I think the same thing that fixed Locke’s legs in Season one fixed Jin’s thing now… but since Locke isn’t talking to anyone (‘cept to Boone, and he’s dead now) Jin and Sun and no one else will have a clue that the island can fix things like that.
And did you see the preview for next week?? the blast doors come down and Locke gets trapped! Freaky! I can hardly wait!
