2,996.
That is the number of innocent people who were killed in one of the most henious attacks ever launched on American soil.
But today, I want to remember, not the deaths of those innocent people, but the lives. The life of one man in particular. I signed up at 2996 to honor the life of someone.
I was assigned Kenneth Joseph Tarantino, 39, of Bayonne, N.J. Kenneth was a currency trader for Cantor Fitzgerald on the 105th floor of WTC1. He was remembered as the life of the party, the kind of guy everyone wanted to hang out with.
Kenneth left behind a wife and 4 year old son. His wife gave birth to their second son just 3 months after his death.
To learn more about Kenneth, check his page at Legacy.com.

Thank you for sharing Kenneth’s story with us..
My thoughts and prayers were with all the families on this 5th Anniversary of 9/11.
God bless you,
Hugs,

My name is Meagan and I have been a friend to the Tarantinos for most of my life and I swear I’d rather have those terrorists that blew up the World Trade Centers ripped apart limb from limb instead of hanged.
