Ok… I just heard this great song on American Idol. “Unwritten” originally done by Natasha Bedingfield, sung by Ayla Brown on AI tonight. Maybe it’s the writer deep within me… but this song just hits a chord with me (a-ha! get it? *S*)… Something about the chorus… “No one else can sepak the words upon your lips, Drench yourself in words unspoken…. Today is where your book begins, the rest is unwritten.” Somehow that thought brings a huge smile to my face. Anyway… here are the lyrics, I pared it down some since she bassicaly sings the same lines over again. If you want to watch the video, pop over to music.yahoo.com and do a search for – Natasha Bedingfield Unwritten – the video link will be about halfway down the page. *S* Enjoy!

“Unwritten”
Album Title – Unwritten
I am unwritten, can’t read my mind, I’m undefined
I’m just beginning, the pen’s in my hand, ending unplannedStaring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not findReaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwrittenOh, oh, oh
I break tradition, sometimes my tries, are outside the lines
We’ve been conditioned to not make mistakes, but I can’t live that wayStaring at the blank page before you
Open up the dirty window
Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not findReaching for something in the distance
So close you can almost taste it
Release your inhibitions
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you
Only you can let it in
No one else, no one else
Can speak the words on your lips
Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
Yes that is one of my favorite songs. I even got the ring tone. It’s like one of those songs that really speaks to your soul.
