Newsflash: Update from the front lines of Operation Tiny Effers (aka my war with the ants):
I foamied the area under the baseboard in the office (it was literally crawling with ants! ) and added more carpet fresh to the second front, the base board in the living room (I want to avoid ripping it off is possible).
No sign of the enemy since approx. 1500 hours (aka 3pm).
However, the baseboard was held on by about 1/2inch of caulk (the dang thing wasn’t even touching the wall) and the caulk removal did some heavy damage to the bottom 4-6 inches of wall. The wall has been spackled, and repaired.
Once dry, Operation Sandpaper will commence, soon to be follow by Operation Repaint, and Operation Restoration (the baseboards).
Operation Tiny Effers is currently in a holding pattern. We are awaiting the next attack from the enemy. If no Enemy combatants have been spotted in a 48-72 hour period, this battle will be declared a victory.
