This was a slow episode… right up until the last two minutes.. then oh my freaking word!!!!! no freaking way!
It was an AnaL episode, so we got to meet her mother, who was played by the same woman who played the nurse in Ernest Goes to Camp. Turns out, MamaL knows what AnaL did (remember? she shot a guy in cold blood cuz he had shot her in the vest, and she misscarried her baby because of it. so she tracked the guy down and shot him in a parking lot.)… MamaL swears that the investigation will go nowhere, but says AnaL is a cop, and needs to respect that. So AnaL turns in her badge, and get a job working for homeland security as airline gate security. This is where she meets Christian Shepard, aka Jack’s dead Daddy. He offers her a ticket to Australia, all she has to do is “protect” him… a job which turns out to be sit in your room for 4 days and try to drink me under the table, then drive me out to my former lover’s house at 4 am and watch me make a complete fool of myself. But Woah! what’s this?? Dead Daddy had a daughter?? with an Austrailian woman who looks remarkably like Claire?? is it possible that Jack and Claire are related? who knows? Only Joop probably. Sawyer makes a breif cameo in this flash back… After the showdown with Maybe-Claire’s-Mom, Christian and AnaL come to rest in front of a bar. the same bar that we saw in Saywer’s flashbacks a while back. this is where Sawyer makes his appearance, as he gets hit by the car door that Dead Daddy is opening.
Back on the island, We open in “Hatchland” with AnaL getting the beat down put on her by not-Henry. You would think that for someone on such a long hunger strike he’d be pretty weak by now, but he not only bests AnaL, he outright tries to kill her! Locke foils Not-Henry with a well-placed crutch to the head. See John, I knew those things would come in handy! *S*
AnaL is pretty shook up and leaves the hatch to find a gun. When Sawyer refuses to give her one, she uses her womanly assets, and yea… in the end, although Sawyer left happy, AnaL got the gun, and he didn’t even know it!
Back in “Hatchland” Locke is freaking out over why Not-Henry didn’t hurt him, or worse, leave him to die with a blast door stuck in his leg. A conversation reveals that Not-Henry was really on a mission to get John Locke when he got caught up in Rouseau’s trap. I don’t buy that personally, I think Not-Henry’s mission was reconnaissance oriented, and Sayid played right into his hands by bringing the guy back to camp. Think about it. Not-Henry has been messing with Jack and John, and anyone else he comes into contact with.
Micheal returns with Kate and Jack, and declares the “Others” are Porrly armed, and he’s seen their camp. They have a hatch too. and ass soon as he’s able, he’s going to take the Losties back to the “Others” and have it out in a Battle Royal, cuz dag nabit he wants his boy back!
Jack goes runing to the beach to demand Sawyer give up the guns, and Saywer suddenly realizes that AnaL has his gun! he he he he he…. guess she was soo good, he forgot all about it when he didn’t have to put it back on… then again, they’ve been on the island for how long now? some 45 days? Well… there are all kinds of jokes I could make right here…. but my mom does occasionally read my blog, so I’ll let you fill in the blanks.
Back in the Hatch, AnaL just can not pull the trigger. the guy tried to kill her, and she can’t shoot him. She tells Micheal about Not-Henry, and dude… this is where it gets major intense! Micheal takes the gun, tells AnaL I’m Sorry, then caps her! Then Libby, talk about the wrong place at the wrong time, surprise Michael, and BAM BAM! she’s down too! Michael opens the former Amory/ prison and then turns the gun toward his shoulder. The screen goes blank as we hear the final gunshot.
AHHHH!!! I need more LOST!
