Michael Johns:<\/strong>\u00a0 Is it just me, or is his mike not on??\u00a0 Something seems off with the audio.\u00a0 I don’t know…\u00a0 I agree with Randy it wasn’t his best, but it wasn’t bad.\u00a0 This guy has “it”.\u00a0 Paula is coherent, but always nice, and Simon didn’t like the song choice, but Paula tried to defend him.\u00a0 Seacrest tries to bait him into arguing with Simon, but Michael just admits to a crush on Fleetwood Mac.<\/p>\n Castro gets to be used for the Itunes commercial.<\/p>\n Jason Castro:<\/strong> He hates interviews.\u00a0 But he’s doing the guitar on stage.\u00a0 Bold.\u00a0 It works for him.\u00a0 He’s a pretty boy with a nice, soothing voice.\u00a0 Randy says the vocals were bad, and I’m not sure if we were listening to the same guy.\u00a0 Paula agrees with me, and likes his arrangement.\u00a0 But she wants to see him ditch the guitar.\u00a0 Simon thought it was too “schamltzy”\u00a0 and that it was bad vocals and that it wasn’t right.\u00a0 I guess the guitar covered the vocals too much for me??\u00a0 not sure.\u00a0 Maybe my hearing is off again.<\/p>\n Luke Menard:<\/strong> Says his experience in an accapella band is helping.\u00a0 I like this so far…\u00a0 the hair is yummy this week…\u00a0 I think he beats the Aussie this week.\u00a0 Randy says it was a tough song, and this was his vibe, pitchy, but good.\u00a0 Paula is very coherent, and says that it was the perfect song.\u00a0 Simon is saying it was a mistake.\u00a0 Says he had no charisma and that it was whiny.\u00a0 Seacrest is confused, and Luke says last week he was 0 for 3, this week 2 for 3, he’ll take.\u00a0 Seacrest encourages people to vote for “dawson’s creek”…\u00a0 I hated that TV show.\u00a0 You’re not helping Seacrest, shut up.<\/p>\n Pimp spot!\u00a0 Robbie Carrico’s turn.\u00a0 Seacrest is bringing up the boy band versus rocker thing.\u00a0 Carrico is trying to say that there is so many different styles of “rock”, and he isn’t the the style of Rock that Simon is thinking of.\u00a0 He also loves to drag-race.\u00a0 Awesome.<\/p>\n Robbie Carrico:<\/strong> “Hot Blooded”\u00a0 Awesome!\u00a0 *S*\u00a0 hmm… sounds like it got a little rough there in the middle.\u00a0 DH says this guy just doesn’t have the energy of the original.\u00a0 Randy says rock is not Carrico’s thing, and agrees with DH that he doesn’t live up to Foreigner.\u00a0 Paula says it must be frustrating to hear people say your not authentic.\u00a0 Randy adds in, rock is an attitude, not something you should have to prove.\u00a0 Simon says quit getting offensive, and the vocal was decent.<\/p>\n Danny Noriega:<\/strong> Slow songs suck.\u00a0 He’s got a nice voice in this though.\u00a0 He’s gotpersonality, that’s for sure.\u00a0 That goes a long in this competition.\u00a0 Randy said the vocal had some problems, mostly because he was over-thinking the song.\u00a0 Paula says his voice is nice, and agrees with Randy.\u00a0 Simon also agrees with Randy, and says that Danny looks great on camera.\u00a0 Danny admits that he got a bit carried away last week after the disaster that was his song last week.\u00a0 Simon gets all excited because Danny agreed with him, but the most Danny will admit it “ish!” Because it would totally pain him to admit that Simon was right, and he was wrong.<\/p>\n David Hernadez:<\/strong> Starts on the stairs, and DH is already saying no!\u00a0 It’s a bad song for him.\u00a0 DH says he has no soul in the song.\u00a0 Dude can blow!!\u00a0 He hit it all.\u00a0 I’ve never heard the original, so I liked this….\u00a0 but DH is comparing him to original.\u00a0 Randy gonna back me up, says it was “Hot dawg!”\u00a0 Paula says his personality came out, he didn’t over do it, perfect.\u00a0 Simon says best vocal of the night so far.\u00a0 Simon says he likes the David H takes criticism without sulking.\u00a0 Interesting since last week he said he liked the back-n-forth when the contestants try to argue with him.<\/p>\n Jason Yeager:<\/strong>\u00a0 I don’t know.\u00a0 Maybe I just don’t like this song.\u00a0 Hard, because I never heard the original, is it supposed to sound like this.\u00a0 Randy must agree with me, because he doesn’t like it.\u00a0 Pitchy and Karaoke.\u00a0 Is Randy reading off Simon’s notes?\u00a0 Paula says the song was too easy for him, that there wasn’t enough of a range.\u00a0 Simon says last week was boring and this week was awful, and that the ending seemed like he was drunk at a party.\u00a0 Simon says he’s a good singer, but not a good performer.\u00a0 Paula did not disagree enough to be vocal, but you could hear her intake of oxygen at that last statement.<\/p>\n Simon told Seacret this isnt’ the Oscars!\u00a0 Enough with the long speeches!\u00a0 we need to play the off music!\u00a0 I agree!\u00a0 Seacrest end it already!\u00a0 I want to watch Jericho!\u00a0 Dh said if I wasn’t blogging it, he’d fast foward through this crap to get to Jericho already.<\/p>\n Chikeszie:<\/strong> Hey!\u00a0 No Pimp Suit!!\u00a0 He looks good without the pimp suit.\u00a0 Cool, his name is Nigerian for “something well created by God.”\u00a0 Interesting.\u00a0 Hey!\u00a0 He has his eyes open!\u00a0 one of the few I’ve seen who sings with his eyes open.\u00a0 he he he!\u00a0 He slipped his own name into the song…\u00a0 fun.\u00a0 This song sounds good from him, not sure anyone else could pull that song off.\u00a0 Randy says Chikezie is back! That is was “hot baby!”\u00a0 Paula says it was clever to dig at Simon on the “remember my name” bit.\u00a0 Simon says it was a million times better then last week.\u00a0 OMGoodness!\u00a0 He loves the suit??\u00a0 NO!!!\u00a0 Say it ain’t so!!\u00a0 Burn it!\u00a0 Never ever ever wear the magenta pimp suit!\u00a0 Simon is teasing him, and his mother wishes he would shut up.\u00a0 Chikezie shouts out to Donnie Hathaway’s daughter who is singing backup.\u00a0 Kinda cool.<\/p>\n David Cook:<\/strong> A self proclaimed “word nerd”.\u00a0 This guy is more “rock” then Carrico, who keeps defending his rock-ness.\u00a0 Cook is also playing guitar, but he knows how to work the stage with it…\u00a0 Sounded great.\u00a0 Randy loved that he threw the picks out into the crowd, and says Cook is the Real Rocker this year.\u00a0 Paula, who is still coherent, gives props to the band, and says that every Jr. High girl falls for the guitar player cuz of that song.\u00a0 Simon says it was solid, but that his “word nerd” will come back to bite him because he doesn’t have charisma, but Cook tries to get ballsy by saying he doesn’t have to win Simon, just the crowd.\u00a0 Paula says, duh, women like smart men.<\/p>\n David Archuleta:<\/strong>\u00a0 He can blow…\u00a0 DH says he’s doing pretty good.\u00a0 Somehow I get the feeling he needs tiny little gold glasses or something…\u00a0 Randy says one of the best vocals in the show.\u00a0 Paula wants to hug him and love him call him George, or dangle him from her rear view mirror…\u00a0 Ok then!\u00a0 Simon says it was extremely risky to do John Lennon, but it paid off, and that now, David A is the one to beat.
