David Hernadez<\/strong>:\u00a0 just me, and my bad ears…\u00a0 but that last note sounded a bit sour…\u00a0 Otherwise, a nice gospel feel to the song.\u00a0 Randy doesn’t exatly heap on the “dawg,” but Paula’s all peace love and kittens, already.\u00a0 Simon agrees with me about the last note…<\/p>\n Seacrest is annoying me with his constant trying to bait Simon.<\/p>\n Chikezie<\/strong>:\u00a0 What the heck is with the magenta pimp suit?\u00a0 Is that supposed to be red?\u00a0 Ugh.\u00a0 Ok…\u00a0 Dude has camera sense already, and he is good at workin’ the song (if that makes sense)…. but the outfit is distracting me.\u00a0 If I close my eyes, he sounds good.\u00a0 Randy tells him not to pigeon-hole himself into a throw-back artist, Paula is all kittens and sunshine and lovin’ the throw-back.\u00a0 Simon, big surprise, hated it…\u00a0 DUDE!\u00a0 HE agrees with me about the suit…\u00a0 Chikezie loses brownie points for arguing with Simon on the suit.\u00a0 Dude.\u00a0 Not cool to argue with the Judges.<\/p>\n Pimp Session with Seacrest.\u00a0 He he he!\u00a0 Colton Berry has a great sense of humor!\u00a0 Says he looks like Ellen DeGeneres.<\/p>\n David Cook<\/strong>:\u00a0 He ditched the mohawk, but I still want to give him a haircut.\u00a0 He’s doing a fairly good job rockin’ the song, So happy together<\/em>.\u00a0 Is it just me or did he mumble a bit in the middle there??\u00a0 Randy is dropping the “Dude” and “Dawg” and all that.\u00a0 Paula is trying to make fun of Simon with the “worthy” but…\u00a0 Simon gives him about as much props as any rocker is going to get from Simon at this stage.<\/p>\n Jason Yeager<\/strong>:\u00a0 Uh oh.\u00a0 He’s sitting.\u00a0 Ok.. it’s a slow song.\u00a0 It’s nice, but, as Simon would say, forgettable.\u00a0 Think I’ll check my email.\u00a0 Wow.\u00a0 Not only did Randy not dig it, and says that he kinda wandered in the middle and needs to keep his head in the game.\u00a0 The only reason Paula liked it was because of her very first Ballet recital.\u00a0 Dude dedicates to his Grandmother.\u00a0 Simon calls it “Cruise Ship,” and compares his to an old dog, and not one of Randy’s Dawgs.\u00a0 At least he’s not completely slamming Simon despite Seacrest’s attempts to make him do so.<\/p>\n Robby Carrico<\/strong>:\u00a0 One is the loneliest Number<\/em>.\u00a0 The Strobe lights hut my head.\u00a0 He moves Randy.\u00a0 Paula can barely talk.\u00a0 Simon thinks it made sense.\u00a0 Since the guy used to be in a boy band and toured with Britney, pre-meltdown, Simon questioned his rocker authenticity.\u00a0 Dude totally swears off pop, and says, yes, I am a rocker.<\/p>\n David Archuleta<\/strong>:\u00a0 He’s a cutie-patootie.\u00a0 Dang.\u00a0 He looks so young he makes me feel old.\u00a0 Singing “Better Shop Around<\/em>“.\u00a0 I don’t like the song really, but he did a decent job on it.\u00a0 Randy is trying to outdo Paula with the Kittens and Sunshine.\u00a0 Paula can barely make a coherent sentence.\u00a0 Simon calls him the best performance of the night so far.\u00a0 Aw.\u00a0 He gives props the to audience, and is totally humble and blown away by it all.\u00a0 Brownie points!\u00a0 He he he.\u00a0 Simons crack about apodting him was cute even if David didn’t quite get it.<\/p>\n Daniel Noriega<\/strong>: \u00a0 Ok…\u00a0 I love the Hollywood haircut in Season 6.\u00a0 This year’s ‘do makes him look incredibly feminine.\u00a0 Ladies and Gentleman, Elvis has entered the building.\u00a0 “Jailhouse Rock<\/em>” and he’s having fun with it for sure.\u00a0 He’s got the energy.\u00a0 I think his pants are made of spandex.\u00a0 Not sure about the vocals, but he had fun.\u00a0 Dude, Randy agrees with me.\u00a0 Paula’s vocal ability is decreasing as the show wears on.\u00a0 Seriously, they need to screen her Coke cup before the show starts and make sure there is no additives in her soda.\u00a0 I think Simon is slightly put off by the skin tight pants.\u00a0 Paula won’t let Simon finish because Simon is saying bad things.\u00a0 Randy makes the point that Daniel was being Daniel, not Elvis, and Paula says simon just wishes he could pull off the outfit.\u00a0 Danny just lost cool points for snappin’ the neck at Simon.\u00a0 Dude totally looks fem.<\/p>\n Luke Menard<\/strong>: To be fair, I don’t like ballads and slow songs on this show.\u00a0 And I hate the falsetto or whatever…\u00a0 like.. guys are not supposed to sound like sopranos.\u00a0 Randy called him pitchy, Paula says he’s second coming of Kenny Loggins.\u00a0 Simon agrees with me and calls him forgettable.<\/p>\n Colton Berry<\/strong>:\u00a0 After the controversial decision that put him through and knocked the wanna-be politician out, dude had better bring it.\u00a0 We did not see much of this kid in the audition weeks, so who knows what this will be.\u00a0 “Suspicious Minds<\/em>” Love the energy, and the hop at the end.\u00a0 I agree with Randy that it started rough but ended well.\u00a0 Paula, whatever they gave her with during the break, she can speak again.\u00a0 wow. \u00a0 \u00a0 Simon Tries to point out that there is a difference between a kid having fun with an old song, and a potential recording artist.\u00a0 Paula tries to clarify, and makes little sense.\u00a0 Simon says people have to spend more time on the arrangments and less on the hair. Seacrest disses Simon’s box cut.<\/p>\n Garret Haley<\/strong>:\u00a0 Pimp spot for him since he didn’t get air ahead of time.\u00a0 Dude seems about half baked, seriously.\u00a0 Huh??\u00a0 what??\u00a0 I’m sorry, his extremely slow rendition of “Breaking Up is Hard to Do<\/em>” was…\u00a0 forgettable.\u00a0 Simon says he looks like he has been holed up in his room for a month, because he’s pale.\u00a0 Paula thinks it scary that Seacrest gets it, and for the first time all night, Seacrest isn’t trying to dis Simon, because he knows that Simon is right.<\/p>\n Jason Castro<\/strong>: He’ll be the first contestant to play an instrument on the final 12 stage there.\u00a0 He’s got to rock this “Daydream”<\/em> song…\u00a0 The crowd is digging him.\u00a0 Dude!\u00a0 He looks like Juliet on LOST!\u00a0 On the faraway shots, the dreads and the facial structure make him look like Juliette.\u00a0 But!\u00a0 depsite that, he did a decent job.\u00a0 Didn’t blow Randy away, but Paula was.\u00a0 She declares he is a blend of colors, and Simon puts him in the top 2 performances of the night and declares that Jason’s “got it.”<\/p>\n Micheal Johns<\/strong>:\u00a0 “Light my Fire<\/em>”\u00a0 Dude rocks.\u00a0 I like this guy for the top 10. \u00a0 Randy calls him “da bomb”, and Paula is starting to lose her vocal ability again.\u00a0 Simon calls him the most consistent contestent, and says he’s got the charisma of a lead singer.\u00a0\u00a0 He’s good.\u00a0 I like this guy.<\/p>\n The judges are fighting amongst themselves.<\/p>\n So…\u00a0\u00a0 Predictions??\u00a0 I think it’s Garret Haley, and either Yeager or Menard.\u00a0 All three made the potentially fatal mistake of picking slow ballad type songs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" 60’s night!!\u00a0 Is it just me, or is Paula already juiced??\u00a0 After Seacrest pimps the new Itunes feature, it’s time to start.
