Literally moments before the class started, GeekBoy decided he wanted to take the course also, and asked the teacher if boys were allowed.  Mrs.P was a bit taken aback, but thrilled to have a little boy interested in dance.<\/p>\n<p>I, however, question his motives.  Especially when, just before the class started, my 6 year old (soon to be 7)  walked up to one little girl and had the following conversation:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>GB:  &#8220;Hi There.&#8221;  (think Washington from <a href=\"http:\/\/video.aol.com\/video-search\/query\/Welcome%20Back%20Kotter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Welcome back Kotter<\/a>.  Yes.  Exactly like that!)<\/p>\n<p>GB:  &#8220;My name is GeekBoy<sup>*<\/sup>.  I&#8217;m 6 years old.  What&#8217;s your name?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Girl:  &#8220;Girl-Girl<sup>*<\/sup>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>GB:  &#8220;What&#8217;s your phone number?&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I kid you not!!!!  Where do they learn these things??<\/p>\n<p><font size=\"-2\"><sup>*<\/sup>Names are changed to protect the innocent.<\/font><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday was thePinkDiva&#8217;s first dance class.
