Today being thanksgiving, I want to take a moment and be thankful for a few things. Not the standard list, family, home, food, etc\u2026 I mean really\u2026 we are all thankfll for that. I want us to dig a little deeper\u2026<\/p>\n
5. I\u2019m thankful that my dh doesn\u2019t want me mentioning the kids or getting too personal in my blogs. Because it means I have a dh who cares about his family and wants to protect us from online stalkers.<\/p>\n
4. I\u2019m thankful the numerous amounts of speed traps we saw while driving to my mom\u2019s house today. Because it means the police officers are taking time away from their families on this holiday to protect the rest of us from crazy, speedy, and sometimes drunk drivers.<\/p>\n
3. I\u2019m thankful for the gas station near me. Because without gas, we wouldn\u2019t be able to drive to my mom\u2019s house in the first place. As an add-on to this one\u2026 I\u2019m also truly thankful that gas prices are back down to $2.09! (instead of topping $3 like they were a few months back!) Gas prices like that allow me to travel more.<\/p>\n
2. I\u2019m thankful for 911 operators. Because they are there when you need them, even on holidays. And even if you don\u2019t really need them\u2026 its nice to know the service exists.<\/p>\n
1. I\u2019m thankful for my long fingers, and medium length nails. Because God knew that on this day, at approximately 11am, I would need my long, thin, finger and medium length nail to fish an object out of my baby\u2019s throat.<\/p>\n
Additionally, I am truly so thankful for my family. My parents, who are always there to call when I have questions. My sisters, *S<\/strong>* Built-in babysitters! How much better could that be! *S<\/strong>* My wonderful dh who notices even the tiny little things, and is such a good dad. My oldest boy, who is such a big help, even if he can be stubborn at times. My darling little girl, although she is the biggest DIVA at times, her sweet smiles, and the way she calls out \u201cI luv you Mommy!\u201d every night at bedtime make all the struggle with her and her strong will worth it. And for my baby boy. His little chubby face, and curly hair.
