{"id":739,"date":"2007-08-16T18:17:02","date_gmt":"2007-08-16T23:17:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.yuriar.com\/wp\/?p=739"},"modified":"2007-08-16T18:17:02","modified_gmt":"2007-08-16T23:17:02","slug":"unknown-sisters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/yuriar.com\/katp\/2007\/08\/16\/unknown-sisters\/","title":{"rendered":"Unknown sisters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/wires\/2007Aug16\/0,4670,NavyPlaneCrash,00.html\" rel=\"noopener\">This<\/a> kind of stuff just hurts my heart\u2026.\u00a0 Because there but for the grace of God go I.<\/p>\n<p>I hurt for the wives of the VAW120.\u00a0 I <strong>know<\/strong> the military most likely hasn\u2019t told them who is missing.\u00a0 And I <strong>know<\/strong> there is little to no communication with spouses and loved ones going on right now.\u00a0 So I <strong>know<\/strong> every wife from that squadron is holding her breath\u2026.\u00a0 Waiting to find out if their husband is ok.<\/p>\n<p>I pray for them.<\/p>\n<p>I hurt for them\u2026<\/p>\n<p>my unknown sisters.<\/p>\n<p>___<\/p>\n<p>We tend the children, keeps homes running, and live for the occasional email or phone call.<\/p>\n<p>We answer the call.\u00a0 We may not have signed the enlistment papers with a pen, but we signed them with our heart.<\/p>\n<p>Yet 9 times out of 10, the press knows about our husbands&#8217; injury or death before we do.<\/p>\n<p>And we either avoid the news altogether hoping to ignore it, or hang on to every update, desperate for more information.<\/p>\n<p>God bless the unsung heroes of this war.<\/p>\n<p>God bless the military family.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This kind of stuff just hurts my heart\u2026.\u00a0 Because there but for the grace of God go I.
