She’s there because she just wrote a book, but that’s not important to my God-Breeze this am. The nanny is also now a mother. Apparently she just a baby a few months ago. One of the questions posed to the nanny is what is the best part of being a mother, as opposed to being a nanny? Her response – Knowing that I don’t have to give her back. The nanny elaborated that as a nanny, saying good bye to the kids she cared for was always the hardest. Now she has her own baby girl, and loves the fact that she doesn’t have to say goodbye anymore.

That just got me to thinking… I know there are days when I want to walk away. There are days when I feel like I’ve had enough. BUT! I wouldn’t trade my job for the world. True, I don’t make a big paycheck, but there truly is nothing better than watching your babies discover the world around them. The expressions on my baby’s face as he masters new things, or does something for the first time… Watching my little girl blossom before my eyes… Sharing the joys of school with my 4yr old while he still likes school… and all the stuff in between that I would have missed had I handed them to a sitter and gone to “work”.

So I’m watching FOX news this morning.. and they Interviewed a nanny, *I can’t remember her name, and I can’t find it on the foxnews website*.
