So many times, as I look around this tiny house we currently call home, I
\nfeel overwhelming sense of depression and being trapped. It’s not the
\nclutter, Lord above knows we’ve done a good job of elimnating most of it,
\nthough there is still some work to be done in that area. No…. It
\ndepresses me when we run into situations, for example, when one of the boys
\nis sick, where it would be better for all our kids if they each had their
\nown room… In this place it’s just not possible.<\/p>\n
Sarah challenges that “prosperity of the soul” is just as important as
\n“prosperity of the pocketbook.” This isn’t a new concept either. She
\nactually found it in an issue of Ladies Home Journal dated 1932! She
\nreminds us of the pioneer woman, who left a nice home back east, traveled
\ntwo thousand miles through snakes, blizzards, attacks, epidemics, and more,
\nall while trying to keep the dream of a better life alive, who now finds
\nherself thinking of quitting with a thousand more miles to go and too far
\npast the point of no return. Sarah wants us to consider her as our personal
\npathfinder. She encourages us, Don’t give up! Don’t stop! You are not
\nalone in this journey!<\/p>\n
As for me… I have long since reailzed that there are only two things I can
\ndo about our current living situation… Make the best of it, and buckle
\ndown on the spending to save money towards one day purchasing the house of
\nour dreams, or at least one that is not attached to the nextdoor neighbor.
\nSo here’s to one day owning my own house! Now to go deal with the boys, who
\nhave woken up each other and their sister in the next room. *sigh* I can do
\nthis. I’ve come this far. One more year and we move again. When we do, we
