Blessings & Routines

Sarah’s reading for today (I’ve caught up I’m now on Feb 6!) reminded me so much of FLYlady’s teaching.  Sarah talked about the Quakers, and how for them, everything has spiritual significance, even the most mundane of chores is somehow spiritually important. This sounds so much like FLYLady whispering in my ear that, “Housework done incorrectly still blesses the family.” FLYLady wants us to look at our household chores not as drudgery, but as blessings, to our home, our family, and us!
Sarah also talked about finding a rhythm to our lives.  Kids need a consistent bedtime routine, and parents do too.  Even the moon has a constant rhythm to it.  FLYLady insists on setting up routines as the best way to be successful with anything!
