Big Time!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From Section 125 of the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.opencongress.org\/bill\/111-h1388\/show\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> GIVE Act<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>(a) Prohibited Activities- A participant in an approved national service position under this subtitle may not engage in the following activities:<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p>(1) Attempting to influence legislation.<\/p>\n<p>(2) Organizing or engaging in protests, petitions, boycotts, or strikes.<\/p>\n<p>(3) Assisting, promoting, or deterring union organizing.<\/p>\n<p>(4) Impairing existing contracts for services or collective bargaining agreements.<\/p>\n<p>(5) Engaging in partisan political activities, or other activities designed to influence the outcome of an election to any public office.<\/p>\n<p>(6) Participating in, or endorsing, events or activities that are likely to include advocacy for or against political parties, political platforms, political candidates, proposed legislation, or elected officials.<\/p>\n<p>(7) Engaging in religious instruction, conducting worship services, providing instruction as part of a program that includes mandatory religious instruction or worship, constructing or operating facilities devoted to religious instruction or worship, maintaining facilities primarily or inherently devoted to religious instruction or worship, or engaging in any form of religious proselytization.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This is such a violation of the first amendment of our Constitution.\u00a0 Where are all the libs who were running around a few years ago declaring Bush was shredding the Constitution?<\/p>\n<p>::crickets::<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s what I thought.\u00a0 This can not stand. I sincerely hope it gets challenged and overturned.
