Because the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.peoples-law.org\/statute-limitations\">Maryland Statute of Limitations<\/a> on election crimes is four years, the charges only go back to the 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the same man who <a href=\"https:\/\/yuriar.com\/conservakat\/pg-county-councilman-mel-franklin-arrested-for-dui-fled-the-scene\/\">crashed a county car while driving drunk in 2016<\/a>. He didn&#8217;t just crash the county&#8217;s car, he put two people in the hospital, and fled the scene.
