Yesterday, very early in the morning during the “Senate Climate Change Sleepover”, on the floor of the Senate, New Jersey Senator Corey Booker said:
“I just do want to say that right after I turned 17 and got my New Jersey driver’s license, one of the earliest places I drove was a trip – the only trip I have ever taken was to Hawaii.”
Do what now? He did correct himself after someone else pointed out his epic fail, but this goes down as one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. Not as funny as Rep. Hank Johnson’s concerns about Guam capsizing, but still pretty funny.

Just in case ya’ll forgot, this is the same Corey Booker who had an imaginary drug-dealing friend named T-Bone who get into all sorts of trouble. I remember that especially because of the funny photoshops by SooperMexican.
